  • Expressive Arts Classes:  Teaching others to use art to express emotion in a healthy process of self-discovery, healing and growth
  • "Unraveling My Purple Sweater" Exhibit:  Display of the 77 color pencil drawings from the book "Unraveling My Purple Sweater:  The Beginning of My Journey Through Depression" by Amy Kinney.  Full exhibit requires about 300 square feet.  Includes free-standing displays for all of the artwork.  Layout can be designed to accomodate even unusual spaces.

  • Educational Workshops and Presentations:  Faciliating open dialogue in both large and small groups to break the silence surrounding mental illness and share Amy's story and healing journey.
  • Artist Coaching:  Guiding artists through the process of presenting their artwork.  Topics include locating venues, business development, marketing techniques, accounting, and website design.
  •  Shows and Gallery Exhibits: Displays of recent works by Amy Kinney.

This project is funded by exhibit and workshop fees, as well as Amy's personal artwork sales.  Finances should never restrict a group or organization from sharing this important message of hope and education within the community.  Fees are purposely kept as low as possible with a sliding scale when necessary.  The goal is to spread the healing power of art and to connect with as many people as possible.  Whatever your circumstances are, we can make it happen.

Please contact Amy for more information about bringing "Healing Through Art" to your community.
